DAY 1: KAMPALA – LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK
Meet our safari guide from AA safaris and tours ltd at your residence or hotel who will brief you about your tour . You will leave by road to Lake Mburo National Park. Take a stop over at the Equator for photographs and snacks. Lake Mburo National Park is found in Mbarara district. The drive from Kampala to lake Mburo Np takes 4-5 hours’ drive . On your way you will have a stop over at the Equator and. Have a game-drive en route and then check in . Have lunch and then later you will enjoy a Canoe ride in Lake Mburo amidst Hippos. DAY 2: LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK & TRANSFER TO BWINDI GORILLA FOREST
Take breakfast and then indulge in an early morning game drive to look out for Warthogs, Elands, Uganda Kob, Buffaloes and many birds. The guide will provide you with all the necessary information that you require about the encounters that you will track in the drive. You will then proceed to Bwindi , have lunch en route . Bwindi Impenetrable National park is a magnificent luxuriant sheathe across the steep ridges of the Albertine Rift Valley, this ancient rainforest – one of the few in Africa to burgeon throughout the last Ice Age – is a dwelling to approximately half of the world’s mountain gorillas. DAY 3: GORILLA TRACKING IN BWINDI IMPENETRABLE FOREST
Wake up early for breakfast to give you the vigor needed for gorilla tracking. You will then report to the ranger station for registration and a talk by one of the rangers; Well equipped with your gear, the guides will then take you through the bush your way through the undergrowth, parting thick creepers, to track the gorillas. The trek may take 3-10 hours depending on the movement of gorillas. Sit in the forest among the gorillas, listening to them grumble to each other, and marvel at the sheer size of the dominant male the silverback. It is an amazing sentiment sitting in the dense rainforest eloquent that you are with a few of the last remaining mountain gorillas. It’s mind-blowing to deem that there are only about 650 of these only left striking creatures left!
If the tracking ends early and you still have some energy this afternoon, you will indulge in a guided walk on the Munyaga River trail or a village walk to visit the orphanage here is suitable . The Manyaga trail leads to three pleasant lucid waterfalls,and there is a cornucopia of tree ferns, epithytic ferns, orchids and Bwindi’s colorful selection of butterflies. Here you may also see birds and primates from the forest edge. While the village walk will take you around the community to see how Ugandans live. Dinner and over night at the lodge of your budget.
DAY 4: BWINDI GORILLA FOREST – KAMPALA
An early breakfast , drive back to Kampala. Lunch en route. You will then be transferred to your lodge in Kampala for an Over night at ;
