RWANDA GORILLA SAFARI ITINERARY
Day 1: Travel to Volcanoes National Park
Enjoy breakfast and drive to Parc National des Volcans. The expedition will lead you through Mbarara to Kisoro giving sceneries of the good-looking terraced hills, plantations and local homesteads. Passing through Kabale you will cross the Uganda –Rwanda boarder to enter Rwanda and rest at the Volcanoes Virunga Lodge.
Day 2: Gorilla Tracking in Rwanda
head to the park headquarters a short briefing prior to setting off to the mountain slopes to look for the chief primates. It is an invigorating experience on meeting of the gorillas. This is done for almost a full day but it basing on their progress. Dinner and overnight at Volcanoes Virunga Lodge (FB).
Day 3: Gorilla Trekking/ Golden Monkey Tracking
There is another chance of tracking in PNV or head for a tour to the golden monkeys on the other hand, you may climb the Muhavura volcanoes, or move up the Dian Fossey’s grave. Dinner and Volcanoes Virunga Lodge (FB).
Day 4: Kigali City / go back to Kampala
Basing on your choice, you may depart for Kigali or Kampala basing on where your departure flight is. You will head for a city tour in Kigali, to tour the market, a pottery project, handicraft shops, the genocide memorial and Franco-Rwandan cultural centre and many. You will afterwards be taken to the airport to catch your flight.
