Managed by the local community, Buhoma community rest camp is the best option in Bwindi national park for those on a tight budget. The camp is located at the entrance of the park and it provides clean well maintained bandas and five beautifully positioned self-contained safari tents that are mounted on raised plat forms that overlook the steep forest gallery.
The camp has several levelled terraces allowing or giving campers with their own equipments an opportunity to camp , space is available at a small charge and shared showers and toilets are available.
The camp manages a dining room and bar where you can be able to access both international and local cuisines and drinks. The camp uses solar electricity in rooms and a charging point is available at the reception for those interested in charging their cameras.
